This powerful chapter in Wilson’s American Century Cycle revisits characters from Seven Guitars and explores how history’s weight shapes the present.

In this fast-paced, abridged take on Shakespeare’s classic, love, deception, and wit collide. Claudio is tricked into distrusting his fiancée Hero, while her clever friend Beatrice teams up with the sharp-tongued Benedick to uncover the truth. Comic chaos ensues, thanks to the bumbling constables Dogberry and Verges, but love triumphs in the end with not one, but two weddings—and a joyful celebration to close the play.
