What:

The Chattanooga Theatre Centre rocked throughout all 40,000 square feet Saturday night as hundreds of supporters gathered at the Backstage Bash to raise money for the CTC. Nine entertainment areas along with bars and food stations were crammed into our stage areas, rehearsal rooms, dance studio and lobbies. Entertainment, coordinated by Allan Ledford, was provided by Neshawn Calloway and Marcia Smith; the gordon Inman Woodwind Ensemble; Michael Huseman; Jim Palmour and Carolyn Insler; DJ Paul Hughes; the Monday Night Big Band; Andrew Chauncey with Jermaine Purifory and Azusa Dance along with street performers Scott Fillers, Jeremy Wilkins, and Apryl Hughes. Partiers also had the opportunity to learn theatrical painting techniques, take photos in costume in the CTC costume shop, and play games in the scene shop. Co-chairs of the event were Steve and Kim Hunt; honorary co-chairs were Dr. Mary and Jack Barker. The Chattanooga Theatre Centre is now in its 91st season, and is one of the oldest and most vibrant community theatres in the country.

When:
Saturday, May 16, 7:30 – 11:00 p.m (Next year's event will be held on Saturday, May 21 at 7:30 pm)
