Modeling for Teens and Adults

Saturdays, 11:00-11:50AM

Modeling Foundation (ages 8 & up)- Students will learn the basics of modeling to give them a better understanding of the modeling industry. This course will cover the following topics: poise & posture, runway techniques, photo movement, personal development, nutrition & exercise, public speaking, and embracing personal style.

Pilates Fusion

Saturdays, 11:00AM-12:00 noon
Instructor – Holli Hutson

This movement based type of Pilates was developed by Ron Fletcher, a former member of the Martha Graham Dance Company. This is a great class for developing core strength, upper and lower body strength, as well as greater flexibility and balance. No Pilates experience is necessary. Please bring a yoga mat to class.

Ballet for Teens and Adults

This class is designed for students of all levels ages 12 through adult, from current students of other dance forms, former dancers to those looking for a great workout. This class will emphasize strength and flexibility, correct alignment/posture, and formal ballet technique. Ballet shoes (canvas or leather) are recommended.

Broadway Dance Workout

Does the idea of running a treadmill in a sweaty gym leave you cold? Try our dance workout with favorite tunes from Broadway and beyond. Dance is a great way to release the frustrations of the day while working every muscle in your body. And it’s fun! No experience necessary, no special equipment required (tennis shoes are fine). Just bring yourself and dance, dance, dance!

About the Instructors


Lindsay Fussell
choreographs productions at the CTC, Chattanooga State, and CCA and is resident choreographer for the Choo-Choo Kids. She has danced in productions off-Broadway and returns to NYC annually to study with renowned choreographers.




Christi Barr
has a Bachelor's degree in Dance Education from the University of Georgia. Prior to moving to Chattanooga, she owned a dance studio, where she taught and directed dance productions, and was an instructor at Georgia Southwestern State University.



E. Devante Williams 
is a professional choreographer, model, actor, and casting director, who coaches and manages entertainers. Devante has been formally trained in the art of dance & performance at several studios/schools including The Univ. of Tennessee at Chattanooga, New York Conservatory of Dramatic Arts, Fred Astaire Dance Studio, Chattanooga Ballroom & Dance Center, Ballroom Dance Clubs of Nashville and Atlanta, Dance 411 Studios and The Barking Legs Theater. He is the owner of Premiere Studio Entertainment, a talent training and management company, the co-owner of Royal Envy Dance Factory, home of Royal Envy Dance Team, and the Director of Dance at Culprit Cheer & Athletics.  Among his choreography credits are productions of Tarzan the Musical, The Color Purple, High School Musical and Beauty and the Beast. He has also created choreography for several artists/groups such as: Sunjai Williams (star of Lifetime's hit show, Bring It), Ivan Kelley (hip-hop artist who debuted on The Ellen Degeneres show), Traci Brown (Universal Music Group recording artist), Xsclusive, Ladi Luciano, Dameka Rochelle, and Jermaine Purifory (whose newest song won him an invitation to the 2015 Grammy Awards). Devante focuses on teaching innovative and energetic choreography with emphasis on precision, personality, and passion! Through his teachings, he creates award winning competition level dancers, prepares his students for a future as professional dancers/performers/ entertainers, and builds lifelong relationships with every student to remind them they're not alone in the chase to accomplish their goals and reach their dreams.



Holli Hutson
is a licensed Fletcher Pilates instructor and has been studying Pilates for the past nine years with Jan Cochrane, Anne Willett, Eleanor Bright and Kyria Sabin. Holli teaches Middle School Theater and Dance at East Hamilton Middle High School and is certified in K-12 Dance and K-12 Theater. She is the founder and director of The Mary Holliday Dance Ensemble, a modern dance company based in Chattanooga. Holli can be seen performing at the Oak Street Playhouse and this summer will be part of the female ensemble of Spamalot at the Theatre Centre.
