Adult Acting Classes – Wednesdays – 6-7:30PM
Getting the Part
If acting in a play is your idea of a good time you first have to get cast in a role. This course will prepare you for the audition and prepare you for your first rehearsals after getting cast. Areas covered are audition procedures, good use of body and voice, reading the script for clues, Rapid Character Creation (RCC) and audition techniques.
Fall 1, 6 weeks: Sept 11 – Oct. 16 $75
In this in-depth focus on creating a character for a play, you will learn the elements, both physical and mental, of creating a character for the stage.
Fall 2, 6 weeks: Oct. 30- Dec. 11 (No class Nov. 27) $75
Acting the Scene
This class offers a step-by-step process by which you will learn the essentials understanding the play's subtext and the character's intentions.
Winter, 6 weeks: Jan. 15 – Feb. 21 $75
Special Sewing Classes for Ages 12-17: Saturdays, 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon

Basic Machine Sewing
Learn sewing machine basics by creating five clothing and home decor projects. You will learn to sew straight & zig zag stitches, how to read and cut a pattern, and make your own pattern for a five-minute skirt.
Fall 1 session, 6 weeks: Sept. 14-19
Winter session, 6 weeks: Jan. 18-22
Advanced Basics of Machine Sewing
Learn to make more advanced stitching with a sewing machine like installing zippers and making button holes by working on four, in-depth projects.
Fall 2 session, 6 weeks: Nov. 2 – Dec. 14 (no class Nov. 30)
Spring session, 6 weeks: March 8 – April 12
