Three Week Musical Theatre Training Academy July 7-25 Cost: $495This comprehensive program provides instruction in acting, movement, voice, and play study for the stage. Each student participates in the creation and performance of an original musical theatre production, fully supported with scenery, lighting, and costumes, and performed in our Circle Theatre on Thursday and Friday of the last week of class. Performances on Thursday at 10 a.m. and Friday at 10 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. |

| Meet Some of our Summer Academy Faculty Chuck Tuttle holds a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Children’s Theatre and Creative Drama from the University of Texas at Austin. He has taught young people for 25 years in California, Texas, Japan, and Tennessee. Chuck is the Director of Education and Outreach for the Chattanooga Theatre Centre. Maria Chattin Carter has her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Theatre from Stephens College. She has taught for six years for various educational programs including the Chattanooga Theatre Centre and Baylor School. Maria is currently the Youth Theatre Director at the Chattanooga Theatre Centre. Kate Muchmore received her Master of Arts Degree in Directing from Western Washington University and her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theatre from Otterbein College in Westerville, Ohio. She has acted as Program Director for Villa Academy in Seattle and performed for children throughout Washington state with the Taproot Theatre Company. Chris Williamson holds a Bachelor Degree in Theatre and Art from King College and is currently working towards his Masters in Education degree. He has worked for three years as a professional stand-up comedian and is currently teaching at Tyner Middle School. Holli Hutson will receive her Masters in Theatre degree this fall from Antioch College. She holds a degree in English from UTC and has trained in dance with Chattanooga Ballet and Ohio State University. Holli has worked as a choreographer for 12 years and is currently working in that capacity at Covenant College. |
